Egyptian Species Extinctions

The Society for the Study of Egyptian Antiquities (SSEA) will be hosting a presentation by me on January 30, 2025 (7 pm ET via Zoom).

This presentation will look at the archaeological and scientific records for the existence and extinction of various species in Ancient Egypt up to the modern period, with a preference for iconic and endemic species. There will be an examination of the causes and threats to current species at risk, and the resulting actions taken by the Government of Egypt to protect wildlife and habitat.
